\n ODOURS are generated during the conveyance and treatment of wastewater due to the degradation of organic matter by micro-organism under anaerobic conditions.\n<\/p>\n

\n Performance of Odour control Systems are determined by odour removal efficiency in odour concentration units (ou\/cu.m) and measured according to MS 1963 : 2007 (BS EN 13725: 2003) <\/strong><\/p>\n

\n In the BIORID\u00ae Pre-scrubber section, hazardous chemicals and solid contaminants are removed from the odorous gases.<\/p>\n

\nThe gases, which are now pre-cleaned, humidified and cooled but still odorous, are then passed on to the BIORID\u00ae Biofilter where the biological processes will reduce the odour concentration units down to an acceptable final emission level.<\/p>\n
